Hi, we just found out our daughter ( 7) has celiacs. She also has a very sever tree nut allergy. A lot of the food we are finding is cross contaminated. Is anyone else have this issue?

Well you are in good hands. There are so many more options available for kids with dietary restrictions. The biggest complaint I hear from parents is the cost of items that must be free of gluten, nuts or peanuts is very high.

Sadly, it was confirmed with blood test. She also has a slow thyroid and sees an endocrinologist at CHOP. He is the one that discovered it.

This is a challenging set of dietary restrictions. She has actual celiacs, diagnosed with a blood test and not just her symptoms? I am not dismissing your post but it is very popular for doctors to label kids gluten intolerant based solely upon symptoms and not objective testing.
That said, if she is truly gluten intolerant and tree nut sensitive you are going to have to get very creative in food choices. There are websites that do some of the legwork for you; https://snacksafely.com/safe-snack-guide... (for example)
I am a school nurse and under section 504, we must provide a allergen free setting for our kids with allergies. These kids still eat what appears to be all of the "normal" foods that other kids eat; it is just made out of different ingredients. The parents are very creative in meal planning and sharing. Try reaching out to your school for the name of another family dealing with a similar issue and you may get some great ideas and suggestions.
I guess I did not really answer your question about cross contaminates but hopefully you can get those anwers here too.
