Hi everyone. bread seems to be the hardest thing for us to replace. Has anyone found a good GF bread or bread recipe? Something that's not as dense as a brick and tastes good?

I enjoy the Whole Foods GF sandwich bread. It's dense but good when toasted, tastes slightly sweet but I can still have a savory filling on it. Also I've tried a few recipes that use ground nuts in small amounts and it seems to really help the taste and texture. I might still have a recipe somewhere... checking...arg, no it's gone. Anyway keep your eyes peeled when you are surfing GF sites.

I love glutano corn bread. My kids are fine with Kinnickinic sandwich bread. I think it is fine for toast, grilled sandwich or french toast.

I'll have to see if I can find some tapioca bread around here. I live on a small island so my resources are kind of limited here. I shop on the mainland as often as possible for better selection and price but the cost of the ferry and the headache that causes keeps me on the rock most of the time.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ladies.

Tapioca bread works for us, too, expecially a little heating in the microwave. Also Brown rice tortillas work well for quesadillas and pizza crust.
