I just wanted to introduce myself. My 3.5 year old has Celiac, she was diagnosed at 18 months old after only 3 weeks of showing symptoms, we have basically been gluten free ever since. I now have a 3 month old son who just had the genetic test done so we are waiting to see if its a real possibility for him or not. He is going to be gluten free no matter what the results are until we hit school age but I wanted to know what his chances were too.

I have become quite the gluten free baker so if anyone out there needs some tips I have learned a lot in the last few years!

I'm glad we have a group for this!

Hi Kibbie,

Welcome to the group! Did you see me waving my hand for GF baking tips???  LOL .  My dd has been GF for 7 years and I still struggle with the GF baking.  I tend to go with mixes.  More than 5 ingredients set  off a panic button in  We also are waiting for the genetic test results for my 7 and 4 year old.  I heard it can take 6-8 weeks.  We're keeping our fingers crossed that we can put the big question to rest on at least one of them.  Keep us updated with your results.  BTW, do  you ship your baked goodies????
