Angry college son.

My 18 year old rising college sophomore has always had a strong personality. He was never lovey dovey with anyone. In high school he became meaner and angrier toward us and his younger sister. He is a good student. He decided all he needs in life if career and money and does not need any moral support from us. He constantly compares our family to others. And makes sure to say we are defective as a family unit. Since being in college he now found a new freedom to call us names and liberal use profanities toward us. My husband is ready to kick him out of the house. He blames all his failures on us. I am totally lost.

He is feeling like a cool adult. So get him where it hurts; the wallet. If he can act like an adult and say whatever he pleases then he can pay his own way as well.
