It time to start time-outs or is it too early? My son is starting to throw a temper. He threw a phone at my head the other day and when I said "No, that hurt!", he laughed. I am about to lose my cool!!

The porta crib is a good idea. I was wondering how you keep them in the corner. I'd have to stand over my son to make him stay there...which sort of defeats the purpose.

We do time outs. I just try to save the swats for when he's doing something that will hurt himself or somebody else. If he misbehaves, he has a porta crib for time outs in the corner. He doesn't like it, but hey, that's the idea, right? He's not supposed to. I let him cry, as I go about my business, & it doesn't usually last too long. It has a teddy bear in there & when he's ready to calm down, he suddenly stops snuggles with the bear. That way he can be comforted to help him calm down, but he still knows I mean business. Once he's calmed down I'll give him all the hugs he wants. I love them too!
