How do you divide yourself?

I have 5 kids.9,7,5,2 and 1. My oldest daughter is a Type 1 diabetic so she has her 1 on 1 time with me when she needs her site changed or anything else she needs me for. My 7 year old lately has been craving the attention, but I find it hard to have the 1 on 1 with her without having at least 1 of the babies with me. And if that is the case she just tells me never mind. My husband does n ot come home till dinner time and our family lives in another state, all my friends have their own multitude of children so I don't know how to divide myself any ideas?

Is our 9 year old responsible enough to read a book or engage the younger kids (5 &2) while maybe the 1 year old is napping? My husband and I often trade off, even if it's just a5 minute trip to the market, so each of the kids gets one on one time at least a couple of times a month with each of us. I know we rely heavily on our 11 and 9 year old to help the other kids when we're planning some one on one time.
