could it be that she's just not that hungry? check your feeding schedule and how far apart it is between milk and baby food. we started my daughter on veggies and then the fruits. it took a while before she got the hang of having to swallow something thicker than the formula, so i would water it down a bit with the formula. i also started to make my own purees. they tasted so much better bc its fresh. if you are able to steam them and buy the freezer containers for it, i would do so. it might work out. keep me posted.

thanks! i put her in the walker and she has the same effect but she just does not keep her attention and ends up not eating much. how much is or was your baby eating in the beginning? she only eats half a jar if that

I was firm about when starting to feed (which we weren't able to start until she was a year old!), that she only be fed in her highchair. She used to always fuss and turn her head from side to side. That was in the end of October. Now when we put her in the highchair, she is smacking the tray because she knows it's time to eat! Good luck!
