Hello, so our story goes like this, I was pregnant with identical twins girls and they where born at 24 weeks due to placental abruption. I delivered 3hrs after I was admitted to the hospital so the steroid injections didn't rearly have a chance to work properly. I lost one of my girls and I am currently in the nicu with my surviving twin Katelyn. She has had grade 4 brain bleed on both sides and has 2 blood infections that has set her back tremendously. She is 2 months now and is still in critical condtion. She has gone into kidney failure and came back and now her kidneys are acting up again. She might now have a yeast infection. She can't eat because of intestine obstruction complications. And to add to that she has hydrocephalus. Life has treated my daughter like a punching bag and I don't want to lose hope, so I was hoping if anyone can help share their stories and help me see the light at the end of the tunnel. Doctors say she isn't going to have a very good outcome if she does survive this. She is still on the ventilator and is very swollen and sometimes i wonder if I'm doing the right thing. I want to give my daughter a chance to fight and to live life. Any word of advice...please anyone...
