When did you start giving your Premees whole milk? Did you wait until their birthday or when they were suppose to be 1?

my daughter was born 9 weeks early, so her pediatrician recommended that we gradually start her on whole milk at 12 months corrected age (14 months actual age). I breastfed so I mixed her whole milk with breast milk and gradually decreased the amount of breast milk in the bottle until it was just whole milk. hope that helps!

I tried my Son on whole milk at his corrected age of 12 months, but he wouldn't take it. So I put him on Enfamil Toddler and he stayed on that until allmost three. The Enfamil Toddler Formula helped him keep his weight up as he was and still is a very picky eater. He can drink some 2% milk, but never the whole milk. It made his allergies and mucus act up which made his asthma act up. Later I found out he was a bit lactose intolerant. He can eat cultured dairy like yogart and cheese just not milk. Now he just takes a multi-vitamin to supplement the Vitamin D and Calcium.

We actually gave our daughter raw whole milk formula at 9 months. She has thrived on it and is now 1 year.

We started with Lactaid whole milk right after his first birthday. He was 8 weeks early and had some lactose issues but came off the formula @ 12 months. He has been on regular whole milk since 16 months.
