My LO becomes very over stimulated and this triggers melt downs during sacrament meeting My husband and I have not attended a full sacrament since she was born and now our ward dose not give sacrament to those in the foyer because there are two other wards and we're the middle session. How do you handle this?

I used to be LDS and have helped a cousin of mine who's son is similar (I think he has some of these behaviors, but he is young and not diagnosed). She does some sensory diet things with him before church. She has some sensory diet type activities for him to do at church - like http://www.handithings.com/marblemaze.ht... or like this: http://www.sensory-processing-disorder.c... or http://www.sensory-processing-disorder.c... - also a compression vest or weighted lap pad might help. I know you eventually want her to sit and listen, but honestly, just being quite in the chapel for a while is a nice place to start. If she has to fidget with something or do something, that's ok. Also, it might be too loud. It was always a little too loud for me and my son has gone with his granparents a few times and said it's way too loud. You could try some noise reducing headphones (with no music or anything.)

IF the Bishop will not allow you to have Sacrament you need to go to the Stake President.

They should offer Sacrament or take turns in the Church. I would hope that maybe someone cna step out for amoment so you can go in. I am single mom - When we get to Church they come out to us. Have you asked them to come out to you specifically? Or maybe another designated place?
