Help! Sensory seeking and sleep.

My 3yr old DD has never been a good sleeper. We have done what we needed to get sleep. Routine of cuddles, rocking, patting, humming while she pulls my hair out and flops around like a fish on my lap. Once asleep she goes in our bed with us for more tight cuddles. During the night she continues to pull my hair and wake if she doesn't feel me right next to her. Then we are up for hours.
Looking for any suggestions!

I don't know but my daughter still does this at age 8 so I guess they don't out grow it. We have started melatonin pills and that has helped some. She finally falls asleep around 11 and is up at 5 or 6 in the morning. Also gets up 3 to 4 times during the night. I can't leave her side. My husband feels like I've abandoned him so trying to fit everyone in. Feeling exhausted.
