Introducing Ourselves

Hello, I just found this group. (I went looking for it) I am the mother of Ivan who just turned three. He has some moderate sensory prossessing issues. Ivan has a speech delay but is talking now. He used sign language as his first language, using only sign to communicate until he was around two and a half. Our biggest challenges right now are behavior problems at preschool when the environment is too loud, and bm potty training for school time. The school bathrooms are loud and distracting and he has not been able to make it work yet.

I am looking forward to getting to know the families of this group.

I also work with special needs children.

WELCOME!!! We're so glad you're here! I'm so with you on those issues. My son is 3 and still has severe speech delay and we use sign language and a wood book. We haven't been able to potty train yet, but when we are in the rest room he's fascinated by the potty, and he HAS to be the one to flush ... LOL...
