Trying to plan if or when for future kids, anyone know any statistics?

Both my boys have it. One is to one extreme and the other the opposite extreme.

I asked the woman who evaluated my son this very question and here was her answer:

There are no studies that confirm any genetic link as of yet. However, she said she has been doing this work for 15 years, and in MOST families she has worked with who have one child diagnosed, another child or parent in the same family also shows signs of having it as well. Therefore, she said, it cannot be said *scientifically* that if your child has SPD the odds of subsequent children having it are higher, but her *personal* observation through 15 years of experience is that it seems to run in some families.

My son has it and my two year old is starting to show the signs. That's one, maybe two out of four kids. I think chances are statistically higher, but there's no way to know for certain.
