They can Grow to Teens and overcome...

When your child is younger it seems like a nightmare..but,with proper therapy they can learn to cope and live normally with their disorder. The elementary school years seem to be the worst...and you may have to step into the classroom and teach the not settle on one school if it is not helping your child...move him or her to another school until you find the proper help. Kids pick on kids, make sure your child does not have to deal with that. If it starts, get him a fresh start somewhere else where the kids don't have him "pegged" as a person with some differece from themselves....You may have to make several "fresh starts" until you find the best placement...

I have lived through me!

It's good to know that it does end.  But I don't agree with switching schools because of picking.  I wasn't 'special' in school, but was picked on regardless.  I dealt with it, and am stronger for it.
