My daughter went to a co-ed party (she's 13), and it was outside and they had an awesome time. They played music and ate food (have plenty of food). They played flashlight tag, capture the flag, I think they had some nerf guns around. I know they had a lot of activities to keep them busy, but it was more laid back, so there wasn't a set schedule, except for maybe cake and presents time. It might sound funny to have the young teenagers playing these little kid games, but at heart they are still kids too, and they will have fun because everyone's saying it's OK and they aren't immature for doing it.
Obviously the party my daughter was at was in the evening, from about 6-10 (that's a long time for a party, so you could do something shorter if you wanted to.) That was so they could play flashlight tag.
The first thing you should do though is get invitations out. You are cutting a bit close with that. She's old enough to invite people on her own, but you run the risk of a lot of extra kids showing up, and parents like to have an actual invitation, an email, or a phone call from the parent of the birthday kid. Also be prepared for a lot of questions from parents. Co-ed parties are a pretty new thing at that age, and you hear so many stories that parents want to be reassured that the kids are being properly supervised, there won't be alcohol, etc.
