Just lead by example. Let her know while you love her, your job as a parent is to educate and help her grow into a young woman who will be able to rely on herself and the decisions she makes. Ask her if she saw a girl or woman acting or saying the same things would she think is was a good idea or would she say, "What's wrong with her, why did she do that or say that?" Then inform her while she may not agree with being corrected, UNTIL THEY START PAYING KIDS A LOT OF MONEY FOR WHAT THEY THINK THEY KNOW (WHICH IS EVERYTHING), she will have to go the way all of us have gone, the Rite of Passage and at the end of the day,she is a work in progress and hopefully one day, she will say the same thing to her daughter. ;) You, Stop crying and tell her to knock off the drama, put on her big girl panties and if she wants to have certain privileges and be treated as a young adult then she needs to start acting it. You're her mother first and while she doesn't like it NOR knows best....YOU DO! This too shall pass...;)
