My 19 year old daughter has ASOLUTELY no respect for me or my family. She's been through a lot in her short 19 years here on Earth and is a really great kid...as long as she gets what she wants! However, since she turned 19, she thinks she can do as she pleases, talk to me any way she pleases and drink and party til all hours of the night (regardless of the fact that I've set a curfew for her). As I mentioned earlier, she's been through a lot in her short life and because of that she has been diagnosed with major depressive disorder, PTSD, and mood disorder. As long as she takes her medications she a wonderful, extremely respectful kid. The problem lies in the fact that she refuses to take her meds because they make her too tired. I've tried to explain to her that the side effects wear off after taking them for 2-4 weeks but she refuses to take them anyway. To add insult to injury, we live with my parents right now. My dad suffers from stage four sarcoma. My mother has been suffering from osteoarthritis and had total knee replacement surgery last week. My daughter not work or go to school but refuses to help me with any chores around the house as well as any help I need taking care of my parents. At times she even scares me. When I put my foot down and try to enforce our house rules (chores, curfew or at least letting me know when she's going to stay with friends so I don't worry for her safety all night),

Linda Stevenson!!!! Go crawl back in the hole you crawled out of!!! You didn't even read the rest of my post because I accidentally hit send before I finished. I completed my it in a continued post that you didn't bother to read. You have ABSOLUTELY NO business on here. You and your f-bombs and your antiquated Freudian ideologies can stay off my posts! I feel sorry for the other moms that came here for advice and had to be subjected to your harassment. I have no doubt you've offended and run them off.

Lisa, the comments of Linda are clearly those of a deranged person or somebody has gotten into her account and is posting nutty comments and signing her name to them. Word to the wise, "skip over them:" Hang around and good people will come in to make suggestions.

PS: Linda likes to use the "fornication" word.
