Hello Moms. I am a private college admissions and career counselor. I am trying to gauge from parents how much personal attention their college-bound teens are receiving from their high schools on preparing for college and their future careers. The average. amount of time is 38 minutes per student per year. Where are you getting most of your information? How college career ready is your teen?

My oldest daughter is dual enrolling in SPC this coming fall and shes only 16 shes been preparing herself for this since the 3rd grade. I think she is ready to take on this world with a running start. She started taking courses a grade level or two above her current grade and excelled she got into a gifted program and then into a magnet program at an A rank high school. She worked her butt off and is going to be enrolled in a college after graduating 10th grade
