My son who is 14 this year, after birthday, has been giving lots of trouble to us, mom n dad. I am not sure if its his behaviour or he is having a menral problem. He would like to show his fist fir a very small matter and sometimes would wake up to destroy his sister's belongings when he could not get to beat uo his sister for no reason. Nothing seems to penetrate hus thinking and make him think ligically like we are. Help me. Whst us wrong with this boy.

We quite literally lock up my stepson's ipod and xbox in our alarm coded office when he is 'grounded' off those items. Put his power adapaters/electronics in a lock box if you can't manage them in another way.

Again, as I've stated in all of your other posts: This child needs structure, expectations and consequences for behaviour.

He is not mentally ill, he is a teenager, with common issues amongst that age group. You, as the parent need to exercise parental controls on electronics (since in a different post about your 14 YO, you admitted to not having any restrictions on such things because he 'won't listen'...). You, as the parent, need to exercise a system of expected behaviours, rewards or consequences, and consistent discipline.

As your haven't received any responses yet, I will comment with what seems to me to be the most logical solution here. Take him into your family doctor, and have him refer you to a psychologist. At that point you should be able to figure out your answer - is it behavior or mental illness. Regardless of whether it is related to a mental illness or not, he should not be abusive to the people around him (his sister) so he needs help that you likely won't be able to provide alone.
