I have a 12 year old daughter whom thought it would be funny to have a 3 year old say the B!@#$ word. I don't know what type of actions to take.

Is the 3yo yours or someone else's?

If the child is not yours, then your daughter needs to apologize to the parents of that child, and offer restitution in the form of household chores or yardwork, and she also needs to offer restitution to you in the form of household chores/yardwork.

If the 3 yo is yours, her responsibility can extend to her telling the 3 yo that she was wrong, and that IS a bad word, and not ok to say. Every single time the 3 yo blurts it out...which we know will be often.

Best of luck. Personally, I'd have some restriction of privileges and some structured activities involved as well.
