Found out my daughter's Android phone has no browser history

I bought my daughter an Android Razr phone. I check her phone's text messages and web history. Her web history is always clear. A friend of mine told me that everyone today is getting phones with Google Chrome on it because you can search websites in "incognito mode" and the websites are visited without any trace of any web history.

I started reading online searches about "incognito mode" also known as "porn mode" and found out that it is true that you cannot view any web history with that application from Google Chrome. They call it porn mode because many men are buying phones with Google Chrome on it to search porn sites so their wives cannot trace any of their web history and won't ever know what they are viewing on their phones. But; our children are viewing websites in "incognito mode" and we cannot know what they are looking at either; which bothers me as a parent.

Someone suggested to contact "MobileSpy" software company online and ask them when they will have a software to be able to download on our kids phone to be able to view Google Chrome's "incognito mode" and know what websites they are visiting.

I know that I could just un-install the Google Chrome from her phone, but she can just re-install it and un-install it herself. So I am open to any suggestions about this...

Well my daughter has an iPad, and she always clears her history. The reason is because she has issues with things. Many things bother her like when the door is open or when her history is too full. She does not watch any porn or anything like that, I already brought her iPad for a man to see what she looks at. Se doesn't look at anything bad! You daughter might be doing the same. Why not one day sneak up to her, take the phone always and look at what she is watching?

Actually, Julie, I am in constant contact with each of the areas that my children interact with, be it school, work, friends, activities, and I can honestly say what I did about my kids.

Parental involvement is KEY. My young men are the "odd" ones, I guess you'd say!

But everyone keeps trying to tell me that my kids are lying to me, that I'm blind, that I can't possibly know what my kids are doing 24/7...to which I say this "when you live in my house, when you observe my kids, THEN you can comment"

As a matter of fact, my kids are the role models for other's in our community, put up as such by their schools, the authorities, their friends' parents, their employers, and the organizations that they volunteer for.

It's more important to teach them that reliance on technology is not necessary. That solves many more problems in the long run.

Oh, and just because "everyone else has one" is not an adequate excuse for my kids to have the latest/greatest.

You can always "opt out" of internet access on those blasted phones too.

I, personally, put my family on prepaid phones. There is NO internet access, and the calling/texting is limited to the minutes loaded on the phone.

I've never had a sexting issue, I've never had an outrageous bill, I've never had pornography issues with my kids and their phones
