Hello moms!

While I myself am not a mom- I am reaching out for all of your help! As a teenager, I felt I always got great advice from my mom regarding friendships, however this definitely was not the case with all of my friends.

There is very little research about parental advice giving, which is why this topic is so important to me! I am a graduate student earning my doctorate in clinical psychology with a focus on children and adolescents and am studying this topic for my dissertation research.

If you are the mother of a daughter between the ages of 10-13, please consider taking my survey to help psychologists learn more about how pre-teen girls perceive advice from their mothers. Thank you in advance for you help!
