My stepdaughter came to live with us when she started sneaking out, sneaking boys in etc. She was doing so well then didn't come home from school one night and didn't get in touch with anyone. We contacted her friends thru facebook and the police also talked to a few. Well the majority of them lied. Her and her boyfriend at the time stayed at their friends and had sex. We found this out later. We got her involved in counseling. We now found out that she slept with an employee of my husband's. Shes failing school and doesn't care. She has tried cutting herself and i know her friend tried to od. She very negative and seeks attention. What can we do? I feel she needs constant adult supervision that neither us or her mother can give her as we have other children we need to raise and guide in the right direction.
Suggestions please! !

What kind of consequences is she receiving for these behaviors and are you following through? What do the counselors suggest? How old is she? Have you tested her for drugs?

If she is a danger to herself, a psychiatrist can commit her to an inpatient program. Is changing schools an option so you can get her around a new, hopefully a more positive group of friends? As far as sneaking out, maybe an alarm system? Is she old enough to get a job, that could give her a purpose, something to be proud of when she does a good job, maybe?

I'm sorry, I kind of asked more questions than gave you suggestions but hopefully something might help. Thoughts and prayers for all of you!
