Getting a period has nothing to do with height. And I can't tell you if she is having her first period or not. She probably is. It won't necessarily be what we consider "normal" or "regular".

Well, I see it as different. They don't only grow for 2 years after their period.

Not sure why you said, "Actually doctors don't say that." I believe I said exactly what you said.

Actually doctors don't say that. Doctors say that growth will SLOW after periods become REGULAR. Keep in mind that regular is not first period, and may take years and SLOW does not mean stop, it just means they will continue growing, but will no longer generally have the growth spurts they had previously. Height is genetically predetermined and then will reach the genetic potential based on diet and health. Periods just happen to become regular at a time that is also genetically appropriate for the individual child.

Doctors say they will grow for two years after they start their period. You'll just have to wait and see about whether it's starting.
