how do u deal w/peer pressure

It depends on what is the issue. Is there peer pressure to dress a certain way, engage in risky behavior (teen sex, drugs). What is the core issue? I have used peer pressure to guide and direct my daughter into appropriate, healthy choices. She has many great friends who know she is a great kid but sometimes slacks off at good boundaries. They provide guidance at times when I'm not there (like at school). If kids are trying to get your child into things that are not healthy for him/her, it's time to intervene. If you are a teen who is worried about this, you need to go to a trusted adult (mom, dad, grandma, teacher, school counselor, pastor) and open up, share your feelings and ask for some guidance.
