Every day I wake up to see her growing up even more. I've tried just about everything to value our precious time together. But it just makes me realize she's growing up even more.I could cry!

I decided to go shopping with her to stay connected with her, being 13 and all. She picked out her own outfits and everything. And the thing that killed me was that we didn't go to Childrens place or Cookies or etc. And it just suprised me how much she has grown.

This was last week. And when Monday morning came she wore one of those outfits. Boy was I shocked! Camo cargo capris, a graphic black tee that said "think like a lady, act like a boss" New black converse. Her hair was done into a neat but messy bun. She had earrings, lip gloss. and she looked beautiful and grown!

What happened to my beautiful, slightly-chubby daughter that didn't care how she looked, all she wanted to do was play and have fun. Now my daughter is 13, about to turn 14. Beautiful and slim from her healthy weight loss diet. And she now has dimples too. She smart, tall and confident. And she is just growing up. When she is 16 she is even going to get her tongue pierced! I feel devastated. How can I get over this feeling that my daughter is growing up so fast.

I let her choose because all the clothing I picked out for her , she did not like. they all included flowers or nice patterns. But she thought they were too "girly". And I thought about just buy the clothes I preferred. But what's the point of buying clothes that werent going to be worn!! This actually did come up as an argument when we shopping. So I just let her pick out the clothing. NO! Nothing sexually or too exposed. But nice jeans and shirts. And what's wrong with the shirt? I thought it was actually kind of cute
