my 16 yr old daughter is finding it hard to deal with a illness I have although ive had it 31yrs I have had epilepsy all these yrs and since I had surgery for this I am doing good but I mainly have them in the night but I deal with it and ive helped her best way I can but she as been treating me terrible all because of the illness I have she says this she doesn't want me to have but shes got to think how I might feel sometimes I hate this illness but have to deal with it and also done a brilliant job of bringing her uo

I understand your pain, and I'm really sorry you're going through this. Your daughter is still a kid though, even if she is 16, and just hasn't had time to accept that it's just the way things are. And most teens are pretty self-absorbed anyway. It's a lot to ask of a kid to try to deal with an illness like yours. Just keep doing what you can. Talk to her about it. Maybe get her in for some counselling so she can get her frustrations off her chest without directing it at you. This is hard because it's not even her illness and she has to deal with the consequences of it too. Hang in there!
