I'm a single mom with a bipolar 14 yr old girl. My only real support is my 19 yr old son who helps me deal with her mood swings. Can anyone out there relate to our situation?

I don't know that I would call it being sensitive, anything could set her off. Something as simple as my asking her to shower, empty or load the dishwasher, or even telling her to do her homework can set her off. And I have found that it's that if she is dealing with some personal drama with her friends and any of us ask her to do anything she blows up at us and leaves the house. I have had to call the cops many times simply because she decided that she would rather leave at 11:30 at night. I am at my wits end at this point.

what makes her so angry ? is she really sensitive?? and do you have to watch what you say around her before she gets upset? think about three thing that could of been bothering her over the years: like perhaps, someone close to her neglecting her needs emotionally or even being rude or mean to her a lot of times that causes low-self a steam.
