My 11 years old boy is driving me crazy

Every day is a battle, I feel like staying in bed just to avoid my 11 years old son attitude and bad behavior. 1st, he is failing school, I asked my sister to help him out since she is a teacher, she did, but she couldn't do anything at her house for 4 days, just because she was there 100%, if I do that I won't be able to work and how can I survive like that? I try to take things from him when he gets angry and talks back to me, or when he lies about doing his work at school. I don't have anything else to take away, he didn't have presents from last year's Christmas, no present for his birthday, now Christmas is coming and what the same thing will happen, I get depressed and I cried because I think that I failed as mom, I feel is my fault, but I don't know why. What I may doing wrong???? Help

I go through this battle basically everyday with my 12 year old. Don't you wish everyday was a weekend when you wake up. My son has special needs and the school district basically did a number on him throughout the years so that doesn't help now that he is older and bigger and I can't really pick him up anymore. It isn't your fault no matter how much you think it may. I probably question my parenting 30 times a day. When something doesn't work try something else. Attempt a positive approach rather than taking things away. Try earning things or put a price tag on each thing he does. For instance you did your homework daily all week we rent a movie or you earned x amount of time on this game. It will be baby steps but you will get there. I promise. Make time for yourself. Take a breather. Take a walk. And with your son maybe try changing one behavior at a time rather than all. Will the school help with anything? Counseling for him? or even try getting him evaluated? Behavior charts can help. Keep little reminders around the house for him. I haven't been able to work in a year because of what I have to do with my son. But sometimes you got to take what comes at you. If there is any thing else I can help you with I have been through it all with the schools, trying to find programs that help, etc.
