Thank you alison for replying it means a lot i feel so alone in all this. i do take her out to shops every sat its our time but even buying clothes dosent seem to ork even though i cant afford it i do it to cheer her up. we tried a tutor but it didnt really help her. i do talk to her but at times she glazes over and dosent even hear me any more its all so worrying school do nothing but threaten and nag about uniform absense and homework, they are a useless school wish id never sent her there.

I hate to see that happen. My daughter has a friend whos mom yells at her and tells her that she is fat. Emily tries to help her, but she keeps getting more and more depressed. You should talk to your daughter and tell her that she is perfect in her own special way, and one day someone will find that out too. -about the school work, dont let depression drag her down into a hole that she cant get out of (school work wise), Mabye get her a tutor, and teens being teens mught find that "embarrassing", mabye a friend could help her with school. Take her to the mall with friends, and plan more things to do with other people, so she doesnt feel so unloved. Because in reality, most everyone likes her.
