my husband has a daughter the same age as mine, however his has not reached puberty as yet. whereas mine is quite developed. my husband thinks my daughter is going to develop into some kind of deviant when she is older. she actually does not cause me much trouble as i dont let her hang around the streets at night and always check where she she going and what time she will be back. i am getting really stressed with the situation at home. help

All of this should have been addressed prior to you getting married. Did you even bring your new man into your daughter's life prior to this marriage?

Either way, the ball (communication) was dropped somewhere along the line. Have you tried sitting down with both of them to determine how this can be handled in a mature fashion? Or are you just letting your new husband dictate what goes on?

Why does your husband think that she will be a deviant? Why will his daughter NOT be?

I would suggest family and individual counseling SOON.
