My daughter is 14 years old and a straight A student. She will not allow me to go anywhere unless she is with me. She refuses to have any kind of fun with her friends, I have offered her to have a few friends over to have a party, and she won't do anything. She keeps saying I love you, mommie and she says I miss you, mommie when were right next to each other. Don't get me wrong I love her to death and I love that she loves me so much, but I need my space. She comes in the bathroom with me and when I take a shower, and she also reads all my texts. When she don't have my undivided attention , she starts say shes gonna run away. I also have 3 other kids and she don't like when I give them any attention, too. I just dont know what to do. She cries constantly.

Sorry to hear that. I had trouble with my oldest like how I said, and after a long talk I promised that no matter how long I was ever gone I would always come back. good luck x

No shes not the oldest, shes a twin. I have tryed to tell her that I love her with all my heart and that I miss her, too. That's about all that comes out of her mouth and when I try to explain I need my space she says I know mom ma I love you and miss you.

is she the oldest child by any chance? I've heard of the first borns getting very attached to their mothers after another sibling is born in fear of getting pushed to the side. I think you should pull her aside and assure her of your affection, and also explain your need for space.
