I think that the other poster has lots of points. But the point is that she lied to you. She does need to be punished before she gets rewarded with mum meeting this guy. tell her that because she lied to you and went where she wasn't supposed to that until she can prove she's trustworthy she will be treated like a 6 year old and being required to go with you everywhere you go. No phone, No internet, No facebook. If you work while she's at school make her go to a relative's house. Don't reward her with letting her gain freedom with this boyfriend until she gains the trust. And by the time she does gain your trust this douchebag will have probably moved on to a new notch on his belt :)

Teenagers are TOUGH....no doubt about it. Teenagers, especially girls are so very insecure at this age, they hate the way the look, they compare themselves to everyone, they think the world is staring and judging them at all times. It's so hard with the hormones raging and them just trying to find a place to fit in. Ask her why she hates it so much at home. She obviously is feeling a need to be needed - thus the boyfriend. Invite the guy to dinner, or to go shopping, or bowling, with you and your daughter. If YOU end up liking the guy, she may not? Also, if you have a friend of hers for dinner, sometimes they open up more about what's troubling them. Good luck....and don't forget to pray.
