My 16 year old daughter Raina Rose is refusing to wear a bra. She's a 34 C when i took her for bra fitting but she doesnt wear a bra. She's well developed and wears shirts and tops. Her breast is visible through them. Her school uniform is a white shirt, and her nipples protrude through them. I have a 25 year old son and a 23 year old step son at home. How can i convince her to wear a bra? Please mothers, help!

I didnt raise my step son, and he hangs out a lot with my daughter . I also have another daughter 2 years younger than raina. She wears a bra. But raina wont. Even Raina likes to hang out with my step son. She is well developed. Her breasts shiver while she walks and it is worse when she runs.

Ugh...it's difficult when we know what is right but our children won't listen. I've been there though, not wanting to wear a bra..even more so now than when I was a teen ; )

First..what is her rationale for not wearing a bra? Uncomfortable, not used to it, she wants to show off those 34C's?

I would find out the "reason" first, before tackling the problem...once you know the reason she doesn't want to wear a bra, then you should be better prepared to formulate a rationale as to why she needs to start wearing one. Just because Mom said so, may not be enough for her.

Aside from all that...if talking doesn't work, there is always spanking to resort to.

Do know the anatomy of the breast? They are mainly fat. There is only 1 muscle that crosses over the top and it doesn't matter how much you build up the muscle, if you have large breasts, the muscle won't support them.

Actually Andrew, not wearing a bra during exercise can tear the muscles that support the breast and will result in very droopy breasts. I suggest that since you are a man, you don't comment on a women's anatomy, you have no idea.
To the OP, as I have said, not wearing a bra will result in damage to the muscle and breasts, especially as she isn't small.
For her own breast health it is better to wear a well fitting and supportive bra.
There are some great sport crops on the market as well, if it's the actual style of a bra that she doesn't like. You can also get support tanks, tank tops with builtin support that are comfortable.
Ask her why she won't wear a bra and try and come up with a solution together.

If you're afraid that your sons might do something that say more about you and how your raised them than it says about your daughter

Even with "limitations" and a difficult pregnancy you can spend time with your daughter.
Your daughter is 16 and should know what's right from wrong. She would also know that going without a bra shows off her nipples.
She is wanting attention and she doesn't care what way she gets it. Sitting down and talking with (not at) your daughter and actually listen to what she is saying. Have a rational discussion about appropriate ways to dress.

Michelle, it may be the worst excuse you have heard but I have limitations. This is my 4th delivery and it has a lot of complications....and this is mine and my husband's first child. He's too much concerned about this. As the case of my daughter, she's too stubborn. She misses her daddy buy I'm helpless in that case. She doesn't listen to me and what can I do with my baby hump ....??

What does being pregnant have to do with you not being able to spend time with your child?
That's the worst excuse I've ever heard!!!! You are a parent to ALL of your children, not just the one you are carrying.

Just going without a bra doesn't build up muscle.
Like I said, you are a man and don't know what it is like to exercise with breasts. This is a Mother's forum and your comments in quite a few communities don't make sense.
