Sounds like you (and your daughter) should be in counseling. This is a horrible situation to go through for both of you.

Its very very strange such a trusty friend did so. Your daughter should have some therapy.she us at the moment busy with her child but she has gone through a difficult time.
It's good that she is a strong girl.

I will only talk with parents who know what I'm going through .My daughter has made it clear (for now) that she does not want counselling either . I'm not ready to ' come to terms' with what has happened....I am still deeply disturbed and angry. Let's just hope our paths don't cross before court, as I would tare her apart with my bare hands

She was in charge of my child, we went throught he formal route with social services, so it was all above board, or so I thought .It was a mutual agreement made between myself, my daughter, the perpetrator and social services. This was just a temporary measurew while I did my degree....she has 2 young children of her own and was my best friend for 30 years, so I trusted her....how wrong I was .She was arrested 18 months ago and is out on police bail, we are still awaiting court dates. My daughter is now 17 and has her own baby, and says she has dealt with it. I'm unsure if it will affect her in the future but right now she is strong and getting on with her life. I on the other hand, am not.... I'm broken because of this.
