Our daughter has Aspergers, ADHD, OCD, and has been uncontrollable with her stealing things we have, including money, candy and such. She is very rude, disrespectful and feels we have no right to discipline her with grounding and loss of things such as tv and art supplies. However; she still continues after discipline to make the same choices. She is youngest of 4. Please help with any guidance you can. Are we wrong to take her things or ground her

I have ADHD, my daughter has ADHD and OCD and depression. Stealing has nothing to do with these illnesses or disorders. Neither does lying. Each kid has their own personality.
I know that lying and stealing can be really hard, but often they grow out of it.

NEVER STOP DISCIPLINING. (Assuming of course, that you're disciplining reasonably and it certainly sounds like you are.)

NEVER EVER STOP DISCIPLINING HER. NO kid wants to be disciplined!
DO NOT EVER EVER FEEL GUILTY FOR DISCIPLINING HER WHEN IT'S NEEDED. Being a good parent means setting boundaries.

DO NOT EVER THINK YOU SHOULD BE EASIER ON HER BECAUSE SHE HAS THESE DISORDERS. She STILL needs to suffer consequences like every other kid, otherwise you are TEACHING her that she can do whatever she wants. You would be doing her a dis-service.

I suffered a MILLION times from just plain old 'mommy guilt' when disciplining. That's just the way it is.

I think you're suffering from guilt and need reassurance. It is your job to teach her what behavior is acceptable and what is not. You sound like you have a perfect grasp on things. Do not let her undermine you! (We love them to pieces but they can be powerful little people if we let them!)
(I'm wondering how old she is, to be assessed with these disorders... ?)
Good luck!
