Hi ladies - im new on here and just wanted some advice really- I live in a very rural isolated village with my fiancé and 3 kids plus dogs and rabbits. I do all the housework and feel like im constantly taking up the slack. My hubby is an overgrown kid who doesn't really help out with the kids and loves living here for the peace and quiet after work. I have a teenager (he hates it here) a 5 year old and a 1 year old. Have no neighbours and feel very isolated - especially when I want to take the car out - but hubby holds key to finances!!. Just feel too much like a slave at the moment. xxx

Its probably something that you should have discussed more fully before committing. I would say at this point, if your finances allow, you should perhaps discuss moving closer in to town.

He chose the property- we had moved into a flat 1 few months b4- he left his wife some years since and had been lodging with friends - I was on my own with my son from my first marriage and pregnant with his son. As I was not "working" he chose the property - he is 14 years older than me so it did suit him more - and we moved iin the summer which makes a difference. xx

Was this a living situation that you discussed before hand? Did you move in with him, or he with you? Or did you both move into a new home together?
