Should I let my sixteen year old son stay at his aunt's home?

He left because he did not want to carry out his punishment of no xbox, or talking to girlfriend during the weekday because he started failing in math. His character lately has been a real sour puss, like I'm annoying him. (trust me, this kid has it really good at home) Should I let him "learn" what it like out there or make him come home now?

You're not letting him "learn what it's like" His aunt isn't going to enforce the same rules that you do, that's why he went over there!

You can either let him get away with shirking his punishment, and expect him to do the same next time, or you can bring him home, enforce his restrictions, and actually raise a responsible young man. Letting him stay at his aunts will only show him that you agree with him, and that you overpunished in the first place.
