My daughter is 16 and told me 3 days before Christmas that she's 5 weeks pregnant and already made her decision to keep the baby, I know I can't force her to terminate, where do I go from here?

Mom, She has already made up her mind to keep the baby; I know for a fact that you are full of emotions. The big picture is your daughter and this unborn baby. You will have to find a way to support her without fussing (moms love talking) . I am speaking from experience. My 15 year old became pregnant and I supported her despite my embarrassment, anger and disappointment. It was not easy but it can be done. Please find a way you can release your frustration away from your daughter. She has Teen Hormones and now Pregnancy Hormones what a combination. This is not a death sentence to her future. I made sure my daughter completed school. after her baby was born I helped but did not take over the roll of the baby's mother. She was responsible for the care of the baby and I assisted. My daughter is now a college graduate and my grand daughter is 11 yrs old. I was not ready for that situation but I had to face it head on and live. Mom, you may have to go somewhere to scream, cry just release but not in front of her. It can be done but it is a challenge .

Love and support her no matter what her choice. She has to make this decision on her own. Just support her.

I've spoken to the mother of the father, but to tell you the truth her intellect is that equal to a minor and he's a juvenile delinquent so neither one is of any help. Finishing school is not an option that's a must. And that's the part I don't understand because she had the birth control right here under her nose everyday??? And yes I was fully aware of her being sexually active and found her to be very responsible, guess I was wrong on this one. And adoption is not and option amongst my family
