My shy 12 yr old daughter has a speach problem, she stutters and drools when she is nervous. What is the best way to treat this, I have been to speach therapists but is didn't help?

She has a social anxiety disorder that creates a speech problem. Treat the anxiety disorder you fix the speech problems

What kind of stutter is it? And how long has this been happening? Curious because my 8yo also drools and stutters (partial word repetition-on-on-on-on) and I have not yet gotten a satisfying answer from speech therapists.

The best thing for drooling is to discreetly remind her to swollow. It takes time, but eventually it will become automatic and you won't have to give the reminder anymore. I know it is tough when you are not around, just teach her to be aware of the signs she is going to drool or is drooling. The stuttering is a bit tougher. The best thing I can think of is to read to each other out loud. Remind her to stop and think about what she is trying to say before she continues, when she is stuttering. This will also take a lot of time, but consistancy will pay off.
