I have a 27 yr old son. He was sent to SAFP and half way house but got kicked out for using drugs. He got arrested. After going to court, he was released but was told that he would not be sent to SAFP a second time. If he continued to use drugs, he would be sent to prison for 3/4 yrs but he doesn't care. He steals and lies as before. Should I call his probation officer? This is a very hard desicion for me to make. This is my only child. He is married and has a little girl. I don't want to see him in jail but what can I do to help him. I have been praying for him for a long time. I trust in God and know that He is in control. I need to speak to others that have this same problem and understand how I feel.

I had a son that mixed up in drugs , his wife took the matter in hand as she had seen her brother die from a drug related illness. She was strong enough to say we are moving to Victoria to your mum and dads, they were in N.s.w. it worked for them , he still drinks more than he should but I'm still praying that he will one day take more control of that too. They are still together and have 3 beautiful teenage children. My sisters boy to keep him out of gaol booked himself into a Christian rehab centre it worked, he even became a Christian and was baptised , that was 12 years ago and he is now married and gone on for The Lord. Keep praying never give up.
