Looking for a work at home job

Rachel - posted on 05/15/2009 ( 22 moms have responded )

I am looking for a work at home job that is legitimate and has no start up cost. I have a 9 month old daughter that I've been home with for 9 months and need to find a job immediately. I'm a single mom with very little resources.

Rachel, My name is Jennifer I am a stay at home mom of a spunky 3 yr old little girl and I a have just started working from home. I was like you and have limited income and was looking for a job I could do at home with out a start up fee. I have found a lot of schams out there, but then I ran across a company that helps you earn money at home with out a start up fee. It has only cost me $1 dollar to start my home business and I love the team of moms that I work with. I don't sell anything, never have any inventory to stock, no sales calls to make, and no parties to throw. I am loveing that I don't have to be away from my little girl and that I can help bring in some extra money. You can work as little or as much as you want or need. They also have a top notch compensation plan!!! I would love to set up a time to share more information with you , so please feel free to e-mail me here or visit www.workathomeunited.com/TheGreenDiva.

Have a great day,
Jennifer Butler

I work from home with a Wellness Company - no selling, not a MLM, not Amway. A legitimate 26 year old manufacturer of enviornmentally friendly, non-toxic products from nature. I refer people and provide both shopping and business coaching. Minimal start up ($100-300 which includes a sampling of product). Great potential to exceed your previous working income. Hi Rachel,

Consider checking out Usborne Books. I have been with the company for nearly 4 years and love it! You will find the start up costs to be very low and it includes an awesome set of books that your child will love! There are not monthy minimums to meet and you will find that the business is flexible to work around whatever schedule you need to.

Let me know if you want more information - I would really like to help!

I hope you find something that makes you happy!

I recommend training for these types of companies and for working at home. That way you can find out what companies to work with and what ones to stay away from. I have been in the industry for over two years now and have tried many companies. The best is to train so you don't waste your money!

I have some great opportunities if you would like to hear about them and also a free newsletter for more information.

Please feel free to write me here or at Jann3b@aol.com for more information.
Best Regards,

Rachel...I've gone through what you are going through and I agree with Katie...the work-at-home jobs where you are employed by another company are few and far between. I've been a single mom (now married with 4), but had 2 on my own until I met my husband. I worked at what I call a "regular" job and then decided to try my own business so that I could stay home. It wasn't easy and I had to get it going while working full time as well as take care of my 2 boys; however, it was worth it. I have been self-employed since then and will never get a "regular" job again. You really need to look at all the options you have and consider that just because you may have to pay a minimal start up cost doesn't mean that it is a scam. Working from home building your own business is worth it...if you are serious about working from home and are driven to succeed, then I would like to help you out. I know how it is to be a single mom with little or no job security...it is an awful place to be, but if you educate yourself and surround yourself with the right people, there is hope.
Please contact me if you have any questions...I have an 8 month old baby girl - she'll be 9 months on June 3rd...they are so much fun at this age!!
Take care,
Niki Ginder

I haven't heard of too many work from home jobs without start up costs, unless you are lucky to find one of the few data entry jobs. I work from home, and it has allowed me to stay home with my 11 month old girl. If you want to check out what I do, go to www.sockatie.com... or you can e-mail me for some information. Hope you find something!
