I started my daughter on baby food/cereal around 6 months. She's now 10 months old and I can only get her to eat it every once in a while. I'm a new mother, 20 years old and I really have no clue or advice source as to what shr can eat. Lately all she wants is whatever I eat and formula. She eats about 5-7 bottles a day and I'm trying to cut that down. Her dr says its too early for real food but I don't know what else to do. Suggestions/advice please!

Let her eat whatever you eat. My daughter was much the same, and she only ever wanted to eat what was on my plate, so I just started letting her have it. I just chopped it up so she could cope with it and she was fine.

Me son, 10 months as well, i give me baby food i jars. simple. You buy baby food that says for 10 months old, warm it up in a bowl with hot water underneath (e.g. big pot). I give me son the bottle, 240 in the mornings, only that, then 3-4 hours later, i give him baby food, something with meat in it. 3-4 hours later, jar food with mixed fruit. then around 21:00 21:30 I give him his last bottle, 210 ml. If he doesnt want it, then I give him 5 scoops of porridge, and mix it with the milk i didnt give him, instead of water. That way he still gets his iron and calcium.

Try it out, and see how it goes. You should definetly start giving her solids. I gave mine from when he was 6 months old. If she doesnt want it all, then dont force it. she just needs her time.

I hope it helped ;-)
