Hi guys. Tristan is 17 mths and has always gone to bed on his own, in the dark in his own room. Goes to bed wide awake and fell asleep on his own. All of a sudden in the last 2 nights he has put up a big fuss at night time. He screams wen we put him down until 1 of us goes back in. He eventually falls asleep out of exhaustion. He is teething with his "fang" teeth...and also is on anti biotics fr 2 ear infections. Do u think it has to do with him being under the weather?? Any advice b great.

As long as he is fed, changed, and not sick, just let him fuss. He has to get used to going to bed on his own. I know it's going to be hard hearing him cry, but it will stop and he will get used to it.

Ear infections hurt more when lying down you could try putting a blanket or pillow under his mattress to elevate his head this might help to ease the pain from his ears and help him sleep. Some children get ear infections when they are teething.

My son had constant ear infections as a baby so I know how horrible that is.

best of luck
