Hey everyone, bear with me as I am new to Circle of moms. My main question I have is that I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and am 16 weeks along. What I am wondering is if anyone has advice as to how to slowly get my 2 year old to begin to understand so that when the baby does come there will not be any resentment? Thanks!

hi, a good idea would be to get a book that explains whats hapenning! A good one is "theres a house inside my mummy"! You are very lucky we have a 14month old and have just found out we cant have anymore children. I have workend in day care for many years and most children take it suprising well. Another good idea would be to take her to the shops to pick out her own "baby" and when you get home talk to her about the baby and how she will be able to help you when the baby comes alson. Include her in everything that you do including picking out things for the baby! goodluck and i hope all goes well :)
