2 Questions

I have 2 questions: a) I am transitioning from breastfeeding to formula, and when my 4 1/2 month old poops, he gets it everywhere. How can I prevent that? b) What is a good inexpensive way to get poop stains out of clothing, colored and white?

yeah exploding diapers were a common occurance for us until things started to solidify around 6-9 months. (going one size up in diapers helped lesson the occurances but not a foolproof solution) Baby Oxyclean got most stains out for us. (washed immediatly!) but sometimes I just accepted defeat.

I had that happen too I just used the next size diaper up it prevented that. I also used plastic covers over her diaper until her body got used to the change it prevented anything from getting on her clothes if she did happen to have (as I call them ) "exploding diapers. As for stains I just washed the clothes right away the same way I would if I got blood on something... cold water and bar soap until it looked almost all the way out then I washed immediatly.

Spray and Wash- leave it on over night!

His diapers might be too small. Sometimes even if they're in the right fit for their weight the amount may be too much. Also I've heard if you put the diaper on backwards it works well(never tried it). My son would poop through his diaper. Up the back down the legs, everywhere! the next size diaper fixed the problem.

they do have baby oxyclean. If your baby's poop is that runny all the time then you should talk to your pediatrician. I use Huggies and they work very well for me.
