that is good don't hit to teach not to hit. we didn't really have this problem with the kids hitting us but with the dogs they would hit when they were young. We just would be stern , grab their hands a little firmly to get their attention and sternly say no and its not okay to hit. Then we would practice "nice touch" and "loves" with hugs and soft touches. It worked well but I know some kids it takes more than that, like time outs too. Good Luck :)

If our son does that I grab his arms so they're down at his side to gain control over him. He usually has a fit about that, but that's when i talk to him, tell him that hurts and he can't be hitting anyone like that. Then I send him to his room where he'll stay until I think he has a better attitude.

Just grap her Hand a little Firm and Tell her with a strong Voice "NO that Hurts" she prolly will think its funny but if you keep doing it and maybe put her in a time out for it she will learn. i dont believe in spanking either.

Well this might be stupid and u may have tried it already but im going to say it. Have u tried time out and talking to her after her time out that she shouldnt hit. give her a warning after the firt hit and a consequence if she hits again. My sister has a 2year old about to turn 3 he did and still does the same thing. but time out and talking really works atless for her.

well thats all i got hoped i helped.
