My biggest advise would be to try to get a set routine down before the baby is born but try not to feel overwhelmed by everything either if that makes sence. I'm a mother of 3 and i'm 24, My schedule works like this..... Monday-Friday wake-up 6:30, get the boys (ages 5 and 7) ready for school, 7:25 bus is here, from 7:30- about 9-9:30 is "me time" i have my coffee, take a shower, sit down and relax. between 9-9:30 my daughter wakes up so i get her ready for the day then feed her, while she's eating i start a load of laundry or do the dishes or pick up the kitchen, from about 10-12 i play with her then at noon i start lunch. we eat at about 12:30 then at 1 its her naptime she ussually sleeps from about 1:15-3:00 durring her naptime i do whatever needs to be done around the house for that day (i break my housework up so on Modays i do the living room and dinning room, tuesdays i do the bathrooms and bedrooms, wednessdays is my free-for-all-day (i ussually invite a frined over to spend time with them durring naptime), thurdays is kitchen and laundry, fridays i just do a quick pickup of whatever else needs to be done then saturdays and sundays we hang out and do family things be it go to the park, have a BBQ, play games or whatever), around 3 my daughter wakes up so i get her ready to get the boys off the bus, at 3:20 the boys get home then from 3:20-4:30 its snacktime and homework, from 4:30-6 its playtime for the kids (gives me time to make dinner) at 6 its dinnertime, at 7 its bathtime, from 7:30-8:30 its family time where we all tell each other about our days and what we did and it give the kids time to wind down before bed. at 8:30 the kids go to bed. then from about 8:45-9:00 (whenever all the kids r sleeping) thats mine and dh's time together til we go to bed. It helps me manage everything that needs to be done alot better and gives me time to myself too!! Every family is different and this schedule might not work out for you but if u sit down and right out a schedule for you lifestyle and families needs i'm sure you'll feel alot more accomplished at the end of the day:) I hope this helps ya:)
