I couldn't imagine moving in with my inlaws. I love them and they are great people but it would drive me crazy. If she is that big of a problem then the two of you need to sit one on one and let her know what you think. In most cases she will be glad that you stood up to her and let her know how you feel and your relationship will totally change. If the children do have a place to sleep other than your bed then you need to be strict when saying that they cannot sleep with you. My youngest daughter had a little rough time getting out of my bed. I would have to get up with her a couple times a night but after a few weeks she started sleeping all night again and everything got better. Good luck.

Hi Jessica, do they have a room of their own? Try decorating the room based on their favorites.. like princess character bed sheets, pillows.. fav stuffed animals on their beds.. etc.. This way, they will be excited to sleep on their self-decorated beds.. Of course you can do a little mind-setting so they will be hyped about the idea.. If they later on crawl up your bed again, you just need to bring them back to their own bed no matter what. They'll get used to it.

My youngest daughter started to sleep on her own bedroom when she was 2 1/2 but in the middle of the night she will always crawl up our bed and sleep with us.. I felt the same as you, I wanted to cuddle with hubby so I did put her back everytime she comes even if she was crying. After a month and a half, she didn't crawl up the bed anymore :)

All the best Jessica :)
