baby is 3 weeks old

sopposed to drink 125ml, but only drinks 100ml, as he regurgetates the rest, even on 100ml, he spits up and the spit is slimy even after 2 hours after the feed.

he feeds every 3 hours though. sometimes he vomits and gets very upset and cries.

is this normal?

whats normal and whats not?

its normal lots of babies throw up - i had a baby that threw up all of her bottles 5-6 times a day out of 6 and now at 13 months only throws up twice a day, they grow out of it. mine has had a big struggle with weight gain because of it and had to have extra scoops in her formula but yours may be fine, if he is gaining weight he is most likely fine . however if you need to get him checked out do not go to a doctor they wil tell you its collic or that some babies are fussy and send you home. if you want him to be properly checkout out take him to the emergency department at a childrens hospital. mine was admitted for a month and ahalf after i finally did this. hope it gets easier xx

at this young age it is hard to tell,

my son is now 3yrs old but as a baby of about a month old he started being sick,

i took him to see my health visitor and she told me to try spacing out his bottels longer,

so i tried feeding hi every 4 hours with 125ml,

my friends littlen was the same but her health visitor told her to change the milk she had him on from sma to farleys both these methods worked,

give them a go and see what you think

Take him to your GP. If he is gaining weight, it most likely isn't a major deal. Perhaps reflux could be the problem? I have not had a reflux baby though, so only a guess. But go to the doctor, your peace of mind is worth it.
